I was looking to make this an alternative choice to Novotel for a handicappedfriend. But to receive voiceovers that 'all our staff are busy,etc' when calling,only to find one member of staff who manned Reception, served meals,pleasantly,not a good advert.4-5 flights of stairways killed that Novotel alternative. Clean,comfortable single room 2nd floor

A pleasant stay

The welcome I received on arrival was second to none. Genuinely warm and enthusiastic which makes all the difference. The "superior" room was fine but nothing special and decor a little dated but the bed was comfy. The room could certainly do with some aircon or fans as being at the top of the building meant it was incredibly hot.

The wallpaper in the bedroom was gorgeous. The four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Onsite car park which is secured at night time. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Ely a lovely hotel

I’ve stayed here a number of times it’s always excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely ambience and a charming, very clean and comfortable bedroom. I’ll definitely stay here again when next in Wolverhampton 👍
