On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the room was a really nice temperature despite having recently had a hot spell and the shower was consistent and powerful. The main hotel was attractively decorated but staff were mostly quite cold and actively irritated when I asked for fresh tea and coffee in our room, which was not provided overnight. This might being physically quite modern looking, there was always litter lying around in the corridors when we went to And from our room and tables in reception area were not cleared of drinks et cetera – the whole place felt quite poorly run For the cheap price we got the room at, it was absolutely fine and I would stay there again – but be aware this is only a slight touch above a premier inn so set your expectations accordingly.
