Great location for Birmingham City centre (two minute walk to local tram stop) with out the expense of the large chain hotel groups, easy parking at an affordable rate, pleasant and efficient staff , well appointed room with good amenities. Choice of a well stocked bar serving drinks and food or hotel restaurant serving evening food and breakfast, whilst some parts are a little dated or tired the hotel is very comfortable and welcoming for a couple of nights stay.

The room i had paid for originally looked good, large room, large bathroom with great amenities however there was a chronic smell that came into the room from the corridor and you simply couldn't deny it. Went to to reception and made them aware of the situation so we were given an alternative room however it was not up to scratch for the amount I had paid although was told the prices were the same. Although thankfully there was no smell, the room was considerably smaller and the bathroom was embarrassing considering the previous room. I feel totally unjustified with the amount i paid to what I actually got considering there was a lot going on in Birmingham that weekend hence prices being inflated. I find it hard to justify the secondary room amounted to the same as the original booking

Hotel has a very spacious car park and close to the city centre. Inside it was very grand with beautiful furnishings. The reception and check-in were extremely friendly and helpful….thank you Carly. Some of the bedrooms have had a major make over and we had one of these. Ginormous comfy bed and lovely modern bathroom. We also had an accessible room at the back of the hotel that meant no steps for my mother, which was a real bonus. The bar was wonderful and luxurious. Breakfast had a huge range from croissants, toast, yoghurts, fruit, cereal and of course an excellent hot breakfast. If you are visiting Birmingham centre you couldn’t ask for a better hotel.

Few staff members but the ones there were were amazing, hardworking, wanted to please , polite and helpful. Nice bar area . Good size rooms with table and chairs. Lovely comfortable bed . Left my coat in the lounge and it was safely put away until I remembered. Good breakfast. Great location.

The Edgbaston Village tram station was super close by, which was handy for getting in and out of the city. The hotel felt safe, quiet, and clean. The staff were warm and friendly. My bed was very comfy, water in the shower was hot (not great pressure though). I had a lovely view out of my large window, and was fortunate to have three sunny days.

Friendly staff on arrival and throughout. We were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade to a deluxe double for no particular reason. A lovely clean room ( thank you Gloria) with everything we needed. The bathroom was especially nice.
