Had a nice one night stay at Achill Guesthouse. Nice large room and en-suite. Excellent bedding and mattress - slept very well. Great shower in en-suite and huge, luxury bath sheet. Lots of nice home touches. Yards away from Knowle high street with it's many shops, bars and restaurants. Recommended. Thanks to Mary and team for a great welcome and lovely stay.

Everything was good, the staff were welcoming, really helpful and friendly, there was relaxed atmosphere. The beds were clean and comfortable. I would stay again, or recommend it to others.

Wonderful Guest House. :)

Lovely stay at this wonderful guest house. Room was very nicely decorated with a very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. Great location and friendly host to advise on amenities. Recommended.

Ideal for Birmingham airport

Stayed for one night as travelling to Birmingham airport early morning. Good price and location to facilitate the early morning air port journey. The host was really nice and welcoming. Family room was clean and everything we needed for a nights stay.

We stayed for two nights with our grandson, had all the facilities we needed in our room and a local Toby carvery walking distance away for a quick and easy breakfast before we went out for the day. Room was comfortable, clean and welcoming, tea and coffee facilities available. Grandson enjoyed the party lights around the bath!! No issues with parking. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable bed, large bathroom with both bath and over-bath shower. Super easy communication with Mary. Easy access to the National Motorcycle museum for my conference. Easy walking access to shops, cafes and restaurants in lovely neighbourhood. My only negative would be that the microwave had old food on the glass rotating plate - this may have been left by a previous user between cleans. great to have access to fridge and microwave. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

Easy to locate from M42. Conveniently to the village for food and exploration especially if interested in history. We only wanted a room for a pre early departure from Birmingham airport which was a 15 minute drive away and will consider doing so again. It was a very hot night so a fan had been provide. On the landing was a fridge, toiletries and extra tea & coffee etc.

Cheap, great location, cold room and no towels!

Given the reviews, I was disappointed with my stay. Room was freezing cold and the radiator was not on overnight. Curtains were very thin and let all the light in at 6.30am. Worse thing though was no towels provided and couldn't get hot water! It was a cheap deal and I'm going to say it was probably priced about right, rather than a bargain.

Arrived late and left early, so really only slept there but had a very good nights sleep. We were welcomed, the room was lovely and clean, and quiet, and the bed very comfortable. It’s a shame we didn’t have a chance to experience the facilities, but perhaps next time when we have more time.

I did not expect the room to be so beautiful in a guest house. It looks better than many five stars hotel. I didn’t have a chance to meet the host as I checked in real late. But I was greeted with a very personal and friendly note. Felt welcome. Will stay again.
