Just loved this hotel, quiet and a little understated but a lovely stay, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, can't rate it high enough! Close to some excellent restaurants and a few steps from ferry to Valetta - hopefully, we'll be back!!

What an incredible place to stay. Away from the more touristy areas, this former palace is definitely a unique place to stay in Malta. The staff are incredibly helpful, especially Pietro who made our stay very special. The breakfasts are delicious and the pool area is lovely and gives you fantastic views of the Grand Harbour. The rooms are beautiful, ours had a high stone ceiling and a balcony. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is perfect during the hot weather. The courtyard is a cool alternative to sitting by the rooftop pool as well. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and a delicous ice cream place just outside at the bottom of the steps. You are just minutes from the small boats that will take you across to Valetta and about 5 minutes walk from the ferry. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely stunning hotel and the loveliest staff. We stayed during Valentines day and the staff decorated our room so wonderfully and left macaroons in the room. We had the best experience and can’t recommend this place enough!

Small boutique hotel, beautiful rooms, outstanding staff and service. The property is in an incredible location with food, drink, views within a 3 minute walk. It is small, with a lovely roof deck and small pool/hot tub area. Exercise facilities are separate and a few miles away. Breakfast and drinks are available, and as much Nespresso as you can drink for the room. There are many, many restaurants and cafes of all kinds close by. Say hi to Roman and Misha for us!

We had a fabulous stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area and stay somewhere smaller, quieter with great customer service in quality surroundings. The staff are an asset to this hotel they are all friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. In particular Dora on reception was outstanding with her communication even before we arrived and once there was so helpful recommending places to eat and visit. Also a special mention goes to Niels who although very new to the hotel is a great asset with his friendly customer service (he will go far). They both made our stay an even more memorable one.
