“Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!”

“It is a seminary, so I expected basic. Nice grounds above Brig. The room is very simply and clean. Virtually nothing in the room except a 4 beds, a cupboard and a small table. It was stiflingly hot, so a fan would have been nice... All fine except at CHF300 for the night, I feel like I have made a large donation to the church.”

“We spent one night at this hotel and loved it. We arrived early and one of our rooms was already ready, which was very convenient. Simple rooms but with everything. The spa is also great, and the restaurant is excellent. Everything went great and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come to this area. Only thing that could be improved is that the pool temperature was not very warm (definitely not 35 degrees), so it was a bit cold for the cool weather.”
