No problems with the room. I checked for bedbugs and didn't see any indication of them. Not a fancy hotel at all, just needed for a couple of nights to visit a relative. Only there to sleep.

Out dated rusty fixtures. Linen's & decor were from the 70’s. Lampshades were crinkled & old. It smelled musty & mildewed. Charming on the outside but The Hotel needs updating. We booked a king bed but were told “our” room had water damage so we were given “double beds” on the lower floor, no elevator. The beds were comfortable & it was quiet. Parking is easy access. We felt safe but it Is what it is. Basic accommodations.

Easy quick check in. Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a clean basic room for a couple of nights, this will work for you. Waffle House just across the parking lot for breakfast or late night snack.

some cosmetic/aesthetic deficiencies, but otherwise a safe and quiet stay, at least during my stay. waffle house just on the other side of the parking lot. beach just a few minute's drive away. check-in with 2 dogs went smooth.

overall a good stay.

The room was a basic but clean room. The nightstand lamp was rusty but functional. One of the screws that hold the toilet paper holder was loose and rusty. The refrigerator door outer surface was roughed up but functional. We used the soap bar that was at the sink to wash our hands but that was not replaced even though it was almost melting into the sink counter because we used it every day. Overall for the price I would say it was pretty good. Also, the noise level was not bad, pretty quiet in the later hours.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s pet friendly and that’s a plus. It was Cruisin The Coast week, so the noise came from the drivers that felt like 3 am was an appropriate time to race their LOUD cars up and down Highway 90. The place needs updating. The pillows were like contoured concrete. The toilet ran on and on unless you adjusted the handle. It was much less expensive than staying than homes near the beach but I believe next time that’s exactly what I’ll do.
