While the Star Inn is an older hotel and could use some updating, it was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Didn't try the pool or the breakfast (we slept in after a late night of 4th of July fireworks!) Desk personnel were nice and helpful. It is located across the street from Sharkheads as well as the beach. Would stay there again if the need called for it

The staff are very nice and the pool was clean but it is only 3 to 5 ft deep. The rooms are outdated and they need new blankets. I would stay again and probably will be. Its conveniently by the beach and Sharkheads and restaurants.

The only reason I chose the property at the time because all hotels was booked during the Cruise the Coast event. The female staff needs customer service skills to know how to be professional. Check In went okay, she ask me to fill out slip and a cash deposit which I had no problem with. I asked if I could take a photo of the she had stapled with my paperwork. She immediately snatched the cash deposit off the sheet and returned to me. Then, get smart. I said excuse me, she replied I’m on the phone which was her blue tooth talking to her friend. Telling her friend what happened. I’m not about to argue with no one. The rooms need to be upgraded. Lifted the sheet covers off mattress and you can tell they are old mattress. Sprayed Lysol for days.

Star Inn Biloxi was an older hotel, but it was very clean. When I entered the lobby, I noticed it smelled freshly cleaned with disinfectant, which made a good impression. I have had several issues with other hotels in this area trying to charge an extra fee for my service dog, but that was not a problem here. They did charge a refundable $20 fee, and we had no trouble getting it back at checkout. Pros: The hotel was very clean, the lobby smelled freshly disinfected, staff did not create issues over my service dog, the refundable $20 fee was returned without trouble, and the hotel is a good affordable option. Cons: The hotel is older and may not be the type of place some travelers would normally choose.

The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Staff interaction was as it should be. The breakfast options were limited and there were no stir sticks for the coffee, but those are minor things. Overall it's what I was looking for and expected for an overnight stay.

The only good thing about this place was the location. There were gaps between door and wall. Only one light source of room, and was not a continental breakfast, it was very limited..
