We loved the location and the vibe of the hotel. The staff were really helpful. We got a free drink on arrival and the room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were great . They use excellent products throughout l’occitane . Breakfast was great

FANTASTIC experience! Room was great, lots of snacks and drinks, bed was so comfortable, pillows were perfect! The staff is exceptional too - so helpful and accommodating, you need or want something, they will do anything for you. Overall just a great spot - would definitely stay again.

This hotel is a absolute gem centrally located in Casco Viejo, Bilbao. I recommend it highly based on my nine day stay at this hotel. The front desk staff are wonderful. Always willing to hep with a smile. We choose the daily breakfast option which was served daily at the attached Ola restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful and served daily by their professional staff. If my wife and I visit Bilbao again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Bilboa. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay outstanding. Very friendly people and excellent hospitality. The breakfast at the Ola restaurant was wonderful. Great food and the service was absolutely superb. The waitstaff was so warm and welcoming. Really makes the experience feel special.

The hotel is in an ideal part of Bilbao's old town but still in walking distance to all the major attractions. A great hotel with super staff and a great breakfast cooked fresh every morning with plenty of variety. If going to use public transport get a Baizka card and you will save a significant amount across all you travels. If wanting to go to San Sebastian make sure you book a seat for the bus these sell quickly especially the early ones Will certainly return if in Bilbao

We loved our stay at Hotel Tayko. The room was bright and had a fabulous view of the river. The staff was uniformly terrific and it was a treat to have breakfast in a Michelin Star restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Welcome drinks and complementary food and drinks at their excellent bar was a great surprise. What a wonderful hotel - had everything we needed in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere, even to the Guggenheim (20 min walk down the river 🥰) Know that this area is a pedestrian only area as it is the medieval heart of Bilbao. The beds were spacious, pillows were great, we did spring for a larger room with a balcony & a great view and even though the hotel is in Casco Viejo/Zazpikaleak it was quiet. We were there during the heat wave and the AC worked great! So thankful to have a spot to cool off & refresh. They organized our airport transfer and sent an driver for a minimal fee and communicated exactly where my brother could park, as we did a driving tour of the region and met in Bilbao at the hotel before heading to our next destination. Breakfast at Ola, 1 Michelin Star was fantastic, we even went to Lasarte-Oria and had a lunch at Chef Martín Berasategui, his home and 3 Star Michelin restaurant ~ what an experience in Basque Country overall! One million percent do t hesitate to go, take your time, siesta, stay up late and commune with people and stay at HOTEL TAYKO BILBAO ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would give this hotel more than five stars if I could. Everything was exemplary, from the spotless room (with a little balcony) to the perfect location to the wonderful staff, especially the staff member who checked me in and then always had answers to my questions (unfortunately I did not get her name because she is fantastic). This is an excellent hotel.
