The Starlight is a real blast from the past, with the kind of hospitality to match. The room was super clean and well cared for, and the couple who own the motel are incredibly friendly and personable. Just a great old-school motel experience. Definitely recommend!

The room otself was fine, everything worked and was happy with the room. What impressed me the most was the office staff. They were friendly and most helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Big Pine is not a city I visit often but this motel was perfect for my needs. Bravo Starlight, you get five stars !!!!!

Very nice motel right in between Yosemite National Park and the Death Valley. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Parking is easy even with a large SUV. Rooms are comfy and quiet at night. Exactly what we were looking at during our road trip. Found a nice restaurant in Bishop for dinner.

Hello, my partner and I stayed at this property after visiting big pine hiking. It took us about 10 mins to get there. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and friendly. Check in was quick and the room was perfect for one night. We had a king size bed and the room was perfectly clean, had AC, it was so comfortable and our truck was parked right outside. I was very happy for the price, convenient location, and quietness.

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was engaging and helpful. We received a nice little basket of snacks and bottled water at check-in. Our group was enjoying the outdoor patio area in the evening, and the proprietor came out and offered us refreshments. Check in and check out were both exceptionally efficient.

This is a true gem of a motel! The owners were very friendly and attentive and the room was immaculate. Parking was easy, right in front of your room. The air conditioning worked great and it was a very hot day. There were many extra amenities such as bottled water, snacks, and extra toiletries. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved the room. So nice to have a small room off the bedroom with shelves deep enough to hold luggage so your luggage did not need to sit in bedroom. Bedroom had several comfortable chairs and a colorful lovely bedspread. We had the room right next to the office and the closest to the highway. I thought it would be noisy but it was very quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.
