While driving from Fairbanks, ALASKA to BIG LAKE, ALASKA.... i discovered my MISTAKE of reserving an overnight stay in BIG LAKE,TEXAS !!!!! As it was the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, we scrambled to find accommodations for the night, costing quite a bit more than we had planned...

A big no!

Couldn't find my reservation. I was ready to leave when he found it. We were the only ones staying here. Breakfast was suppose to be available 6 to 9 and when I went to get a receipt, I had to ring the door bell because he was still in bed! Neighbors played their music really loud!

The staff was not nice. They would not give me a receipt of my visit or explain why my $100 deposit was not refunded. I would not recommend this place. It's really a motel not "Suites"!

Clean room!

Room was clean although a little old. Beds were comfy and has goood lighting. We were there for a party and this was cheaper than the rest. The price is still a bit much for a motel but I cannot complain. It was clean and to us that wat matters.

We had gotten there and the first 3 rooms they gave us were wrecked. The service wasn’t bad but did have an attitude whenever I had to tell him that the room he gave us was still lived in whenever we checked in.

Non Refundable

My stay was not very good but my check in was exceptional. The room was very spacious and clean. However, I was very disappointed when I entered the bathroom and saw the bath towels that I was supposed to use. They looked very dirty as if they had never been washed. The sheets and pillows cases looked the same way too. The remote control to the television did not work and I could not change the channels. The door to the room had a gap between the lock and wall with duck tape. This is my first time staying at this motel and it is probably my last time. I wondered why they were the only Motel/Hotel in Big Lake that was non refundable now I know why!

There was no breakfast available, only coffee in your room. The carpet was ripped and the refrigerator made noises. Everything was old and most of it worn. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The bathroom was very small but clean.

My wife booked me a room for the night, but she accidentally booked for the wrong night. She called the hotel and the guy that answered was hateful and rude. He yelled and cussed my wife out. He kept saying who the f**ck did you call, you need to call these f****n people here. My wife politely asked about a refund and the guy said it was her f*n fault that she got the date wrong and would not refund me the money, so I was out 157$. This place is nasty and dirty. The management is just out right horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!
