I appreciate that the property is very clean and the staff is very friendly and efficient. In the bedroom: the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels, and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and dishes. The downside is the lack of an elevator; I stayed on the third floor, and hauling up all the luggage—plus groceries—was quite a hassle. Since we stayed for three nights, the luggage was heavy to carry all the way up.

The property is well located, convenient to much of the activities, restaurants and shopping in Big Bear. My room was a wonderful king bed suite with large living room and well equipped kitchen. Two fireplaces and effective/adjustable speed ceiling fans. Television was Direct TV. I recommend this lodge.

We had a great stay overall! The location was beautiful, with amazing views and easy access to everything we wanted to do in Big Bear. We arrived after hours, and the check-in process was smooth, easy, and well organized. The cabin was clean, and we really enjoyed having a full kitchen and a comfortable living room to relax in after a long day. Our only complaint was that we didn’t realize the cabin didn’t have air conditioning. It got pretty hot inside during our stay, so we wish we had known that beforehand. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we’d definitely consider staying here again.

Traveling can be extremely expensive. Starting with your room. I was concerned that the reasonable price would mean less quality. I was so happy to see the reviews were accurate. We had a very large two room suite with a fully stocked kitchen. It made it so convenient with our grandkids. it wasn't new, and no air, but it offered so many extras, it didn't matter. The location is central and I would absolutely stay here in the future.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we had a full kitchen. The fireplaces in each room worked so well that we didn’t have to turn on a heater. We were truly impressed with the layout of the unit. We will definitely speak about our travels to whomever wishes to stay in Big Bear.

The staff was helpful and courteous, the lodge room had all the accommodations necessary. I stayed for a rather long stay three weeks. Halfway through housekeeping came in and did a terrific job even though I’m a clean, neat freak. It was even stepped up beyond. Now for the bad, this place needs to be updated, very dated. The bed was absolutely horrible, spongy and soft. I ended up getting a backache. When I came in, I bought food at the grocery store found out. The refrigerator was not turned on and it took all night for it to cool down. Other than that, I would recommend this place although for the price I paid I think it was excessive.
