My daughter and I went for a little weekend getaway. The staff was great and super friendly. Walking distance to downtown Big Bear. Located in the heart of Big Bear which makes it very convenient. Rooms were very clean. Grounds were very clean. There is a refrigerator located in your room, coffee maker, blow dryer as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash which provided in the shower if needed, I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Our stay was amazing that we didn’t want to leave. Harlow and Fredelicious were so welcoming and warm along with the rest of the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. The deck was full of great amenities and the ambiance was to die for. We will definitely be coming back and have officially dubbed this property as our go to stay in Big Bear. This was a dream getaway.

Absolutely beautiful property. Friendly and welcoming staff. The owner, Patrick, met us on our arrival and escorted us to our room. He asked multiple times if we needed anything, recommended a great restaurant and a fun drive/ hike for us in our Jeep. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay here. So beautiful serene and secluded. Everything is clean and well maintained. Newly renovated and just perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Very nice and friendly owner. Really hoping to come back.

Property was amazing. Fully stocked. Kitchen had everything you could need and more, and with good quality pots, pans, utensils, — quality like I’d use at home. Everything was super clean and set up for convenience. Owner met us upon arrival and was extremely helpful with any question or needs, though we didn’t really need anything. Beautiful fixtures and decorations. The entire family can’t wait to return. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommend!

The property is warm and welcoming and very pet friendly. The owner has done a nice job of updating the mansion and its carriage houses. It’s our new favorite find in Big Bear and we will definitely return and refer friends.

AMAZING!!! From start to finish this trip was amazing! This house has everything you need! The beds are wonderful including the sheets and comforters. Anything we needed to cook was there and also had firewood. There were 5 bedrooms and each room has its own bathroom. Our family really enjoyed the fire pit. There’s a game lodge that you share with the other houses but it was always available and has last of games. Questions are answered immediately! Staff was wonderful at check in. We will be back soon! Best place to stay in big bear!!!!

Online check-in, pet friendly, newly renovated, walk to the Village. We stayed in a very nice one bedroon cabin with equipped kitchen, a/c, private deck, jetted tub, king bed, and plenty of space to safely walk our dogs on the property. Everything was lovely. Spacious, clean, modern-rustic. The owner greeted us personally and took care of everything. By far th best accomodations for the price in Big Bear, will definitely return.

This place is pure magic! We stayed for two nights and can’t wait to come back with more family and friends! The owner is extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area! Wonderful and picturesque cabins. Patrick was incredibly gracious and personally greeted us at arrival. Great location, surrounded by pine trees. Loved the game room and the suite which had a great kitchen. All newly remodeled and well cared for. Very dog friendly too. Will be returning.

Amazing property!! The staff was amazing at introducing the property along with helping us get into our room. Everything was clean and looked stunning at night. There were plenty of shops nearby and are walking distance too! This was our first visit to Big Bear and would book another stay here again and with friends!!

Had such a great experience staying here, 10 out of 10 if I were to rate it. The property itself is well maintained with both rustic charm with a modern touch. . The room was amaculate with all the necessities and attention to details with the decor making you feel at home. Located walking distance to the village is just one of the reasons we enjoyed our stay here. Can't end this post without mentioning the hospitality and friendliness from Patrick, he greeted us on arrival and went above and beyond to accommodate a request. Only regret is we only stayed for one night. looking forward to an extended stay next time we visit Big Bear. BTW, dont. leave without trying the long slide, makes you feel like a kid again.

Came for 4the of July. The property is beautiful and clean. A short walk to the village. It’s dog friendly. Their lodge has a pool table, air hockey, board games, TV , bar. We loved it here.

What a beautiful property! We rented the Mansion cabin, it was the perfect blend of a 1920s cabin with modern conveniences. Crystal chandeliers in the dining room, a table that seated our family of 13 with room to spare, fireplaces, gourmet kitchen and did I mention the windows! Bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, comfortable high end furnishings and live plants made our stay feel more like a family home than a hotel. Our host Patrick was amazing from check in to check out, providing whatever we needed from extra chairs, towels or info. He gave us our space but was always available for whatever came up. Just a note there are a lot of stairs. There’s a gate at the bottom leading up to the bedrooms so you can block the littles but supervision is needed. Hubby and I enjoyed our morning coffee on our own private balcony with cozy chairs and warm throw blankets listening to the sounds of nature and the view of Big Bear Lake.

I booked the Estate House for the 4th of July weekend and my family loved it. The house was spacious and everyone had their own room with a bathroom. It was clean and really felt like a home. The property had common areas that provided fun entertainment for my family and the ability to make other friends with our neighbors. The property owners were so nice and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and answered questions quickly. This is probably one of the best property I have stayed in Big Bear.

I absolutely loved the hospitality. From the moment I pulled up, Patrick greeted me and my dogs. (Super Pet Friendly) He gave us a tour and made us feel welcomed! The property was absolutely beautiful and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. It was not far from the lake and my dogs had multiple hiking spots! Additionally, there were shops and restaurants in walking distance as well. One thing I actually loved was the adult slide they had! I will definitely book again next time I visit. The room was a good size for me and my two big dogs!

We had a wonderful stay in the Carriage Suite at the Knickerbocker Mansion and Estates. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with the perfect mix of historic charm and modern comforts. The property itself is peaceful, quiet, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Big Bear. A special thank you to Patrick, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel right at home and really added to the overall experience. The location is excellent—close to the Village and Snow Summit, yet secluded enough to feel like a relaxing retreat. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and would highly recommend the Knickerbocker Mansion to anyone visiting Big Bear. We look forward to coming back!
