The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else.

Yes the room was very spotless and clean. The staff were very generous and accommodating. We had an issue booking our room at a late notice and the manager there was more than helpful to us in making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Big Bear. They were able to help my wife and I with places to take our dog on the lake, and where some great options were to grab food and drinks. Room was clean and very cute. It was spot on to the description and photos on the website. Very close to the lake, and easy to get to Big Bear Village from the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again with my dog when I am in Big Bear again.

If you are looking for a cabin getaway in Big Bear Lake, Arkouda Cabins is a must! As soon as we walked in we noticed that they consider traveler reviews - from curtains being placed to extra AC units being found around our cabin. Jenica is amazingly attentive & we were surprised how welcoming and easy going our check-in process was! As for our cabin, we loved the grill and hot tub and although not a deal breaker, an outside table would have been an amazing addition to enjoy our grill nights or simply to have breakfast outside. Definitely looking forward to returning with family in the future!
