We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back!

Lovely big and clean room. Mini fridge had cold water and some milk to use with the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The welcome and ambience were excellent. The food was superb. The view was outstanding. I wholly recommend staying and dining here.

Nice pub, no parking. Evening meal booked up!

Lovely place by the water. We asked to stay for dinner but told could only do 5.45 which was just as we arrived and we wanted to eat later. Tables free all evening but told they could only feed so many people every 15 mins. Surely 2 residents could have been fed???!!! Very disappointing. Room so light we didn’t sleep. Fantastic bathroom. Had to park overnight in a pay snd display as no parking which wasn’t mentioned on booking. Delicious breakfast.

Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.
