“Suited my needs perfectly!! The room was small but adequate for me as a single traveller for an overnight stay. The hosts are helpful and accommodating. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room which proved useful and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was pristine with a walk in shower. “Beautiful friendly historic location. Excellent food, comfortable quiet rooms and a decent size car park. Service was great and the WiFi was good. Sir Francis Drake used to live nearby for history buffs. Deep in the Tamar Valley AONB there's much to enjoy. Phone signal is shaky in Milton Combe.”

“Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at. Food at breakfast was very nice 👍”
