I stayed in room 27 which is a room for disabled people ( I'm not disabled) However the floor in the wet room needs some attention as the water from the shower does not run into the drain but floods the room so that your feet get wet when you are on the toilet or using the basin

Comfortable hotel for a solo traveler. Food good. Rooms and decor very tired. Staff indifferent to guests and customer service average — not what I expected from a four-star hotel. Book spa treatments well in advance. I had booked and paid for stay before being told there were no treatment appointments available for the three days I was there. (Was offered on for two days after my stay.)

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Bedroom was a good size and very comfortable. Could do with some updated styling perhaps and modern touches (like Nespresso machines for example). Big plus is the pool and gym facilities which are excellent. Breakfast also a good selection. Will be back when in this area

Great bar and Grays restaurant was a lovely experience. Very high standard of food and drink except cocktails which were out of a premixed bottle. Staff so friendly and helpful. Pool, hot tubs, sauna and steam room excellent. Changing facilities excellent too. Buffet breakfast was ok. Superior room was huge with lots of seating and a good view too.

We had no trouble in locating the Hotel. We found all the staff helpful, professional, polite and friendly. We were very pleased to be offered an upgrade on our room which we found very comfortable and clean throughout our stay. The food was very good from the breakfast to the evening dinner. The Hotel and grounds were very well maintained. Overall our stay was wonderful and will look forward to returning.

The hallway smell was awful near the rooms, it smelled like mold. They need to replace the carpets in the hallways immediately. And have candles going or something to cover up the smell in the hallways in the meantime.

Nice place but don’t bother with the cocktails!

Overall we had a great stay. The room was good, and the spa facilities were lovely. We both had amazing massages. The only down side really was the restaurant as when we arrived for dinner, there was no steak or chicken left. It made the menu quite restrictive. What we ended up ordering was nice though. We also had a cocktail in the bar, my porn star martini was awful, basically vodka with j2o and they charge extra for the Prosecco shot which is a basic part of the cocktail!

We had unpleasant guests continuously knocking at our door, however when the issue was raised to the staff the complaint was not acknowledged. Then there was another issue with the hot water, for 2 days the entire building was out of hot, we were unable to use the hotel facilities and unable shower with hot water, although both issues were out of the hotel’s control, they were both terribly handled by the font office staff and especially the duty manager. A complaint was emailed to the hotel couple weeks later and as expected no response and no follow ups.
