Awesome place, beautiful trekking nearby, free parking, restaurant, clean. Only issue was the heating radiator didn’t work, at 7 PM there was nobody able to solve the problem.
I would be back definitely
This place is everything you need for a stay in Betws Y Coed and to climb Snowdon. The comfiest bed, the sound of the waterfall outside, the loveliest staff and a great breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything better and we had a fantastic stay!

It was a very clean hotel, centrally located, with good breakfast and choice of vegetarian food in the pub downstairs. The staff was friendly especially Jan who really looked after our needs at breakfast time. The only thing was there was not enough lighting in the room.
The majority of the staff were very friendly. We experienced a problem with wasps in our first room, but the staff quickly gave us another room without question and gave us a discount for our troubles.
Would recommend the hotel.
We stayed in this hotel complex for 2 nights, we were very disappointed on the run down attic location of our room, needed redecorating, also the roof supports were right next to the bed, causing me to have to bend getting in/ out of bed so as not to bang head on roof supports, bed wasnt too comfy either...the ensuite bathroom was the same with ceiling sloped & low, so bending needed to access fully....The food served at breakfast was almost cold when at table, including the tea...I wouldnt recommend the room we had anyway...

Excellent location and overall very good
We stayed here as a family in August 2021, Lodges are a bit outdated but overall satisfactory accommodation. The location is amazing as it is very close to beautiful walks. Breakfast was also satisfactory for the few days we stayed we had a different choice available every day. Would visit again for sure.
Staff member at reception left you in no doubt she had lost interest in her job. Property was basic with Tv that didn’t work, a creaky wooden cabin that reeked of cigarette smoke and dated decor. Toilet sloped on right side, strange smell in room from the wall and carpet. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and functional. We stayed in a annex behind the main hotel pictured and the price was too night for this level of service.
the stay at swallows falls was very good ,and friendly staff, with a very good breakfast inc, we only stayed the one night on travelling round north wales , just sorry we did not use other nights stay at the swallow falls instead of further down round wont mention other place of stay
A really decent hotel close to the ever popular Betws y Coed village and right opposite the swallow falls. We were apprehensive about the negative reviews that some guests had left but we have nothing but praise for the staff and for the facilities. To top it up they provide sumptuous cooked vegetarian breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!!
This was a stop-over on a return journey from Ireland.
The restaurant staff both for the evening meal and breakfast were attentive and very helpful and the meals provided were great. My wife considered the breakfast to be the best she had in a log time. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed very cmfortable.
Love the breakfasts and the gammon meal was amazing, well worth the price.

Short stay
Ideally situated close ro the hills. A tad run down, but not complaining. Free parking, good bar and pub food. Need to get some steak pies in! Highly sought after but none supplied for 3 days - come on guys! Will visit again - if you get steak pies 😉
Location was perfect for a walking holiday, Llanberis nearby. Opposite the beautiful Swallow Water Falls.

Comfortable
The hotel room was comfortable but tired and dated. Would be better with a decor refresh. The bed was super comfortable and the service at the complex was good.
Property was very dated unfortunately. The initial room that we were given (room 21) was located across from hotel in a chalet style two storey building. Very dated unfortunately. Wobbly wooden stairs reaching 1st floor with nails sticking out. Room was awful. Expected two proper beds. Instead were given old looking brown sofa bed and double divan. Sofa bed had a flimsy thin mattress. Curtain pole was about to fall off wall. We asked to move to another room. Lovely lady at reception which took care of us. Moved to another room (room 3) which had two single divans and was lovely. She even moved my mum to a more appropriate room. Very helpful. Breakfast was great. Fair sized portion. Parking was free. Hotel gave us ticket for this.
Overall our experience was good. Staff were lovely going out of their way to keep us happy. Its just a shame the hotel is so run down. It could be something amazing with a bit of money and care.
