We had a comfortable stay, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. Although the room wasn't particularly large, it had been recently renovated, featured a double bed, and was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. A good continental buffet as well as freshly cooked hot breakfast options available to order, providing a great start to the day. For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning is not a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's worth checking before booking if this is important to you. A fan is provided for warmer weather. Similarly, bar fridges are not commonly included in UK hotel rooms, so it's best not to expect one. As the property is an older building, some noise transfer is to be expected. Sound carries along the corridors, and the timber floors do creak in places. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money in a convenient location. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, character-filled place to stay and appreciate the charm of an older building, this is a solid option.

What a gem! Cannot fault this b&b at all. We stayed in Room 5. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. Absolutely would stay again and will recommend.

After a nice welcome, we were able to really enjoy our stay last weekend. It’s set back from the busy roads and pubs so we could enjoy complete peace. Good breakfast and very accommodating. The room was clean and there’s great access to the town and many beautiful walks. We will definitely be staying again!

Luxury in the countryside

The hut was luxurious and comfortable despite being in the middle of no where. It combined tranquility and peaceful countryside conditions with the comforts you’d expect from home or a hotel. The views were to die for and were well looked after by our hosts.

Amazing town, amazing staff, amazing stay!

Betws-y-Coed is a perfect base camp for exploring the region and we were so fortunate to have picked Coed-y-Fron as our accommodation. Easy access to hiking trails, very good restaurants and a warm and friendly family run B&B. We stayed four nights and loved our room with a comfortable king size bed and updated private bath with shower. A memorable highlight of our cross country adventure in England and Wales!

A quet little pearl

From the very first I liked the place, due to the very sweet Young daughter of the house who very quietly yet professionally bid welcome. It was clean, comfortabel and well worth it!
