“Es hotel muy lindo, el staff es super agradable. Habitaciones cómodas y limpias”

“clean and quiet”

“Lovely one night stay at the Queens, we ate at the restaurant food was also very good it is in the main town so walkable to everywhere, perfect location and staff were very friendly and helpful”

“Appearance was very drab, in need of renovation. Very basic furniture, extremely noisy cistern when flushing the loo. Overhead light in the bathroom was full of dead insects etc, wires hanging down from the television. Black mould on the windows. Tea bags not sealed but loose in a plastic container and not fresh. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. The cooked breakfast was very nice.”

“Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet.”

“The property is unique stairs are narrow but there is a lift. Breakfasts are good but what a performance to pay for them.Breakfasts should be included in price like most establishments.Nice touch to offer a free drink in exchange for not servicing room.”

“The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained; dinner and Sunday lunch were excellent; breakfast was spectacular. All the staff were efficient and friendly. Thank you.”

“Enjoyed stay both this time and also previous stay, excellent customer service Never have I had to think about the cleanliness or good service as I’d give it a rating of 10/10 on every aspect of the stays”

“Lovely, comfortable rooms. Very helpful in accommodating my late check-in.”

“No directions as to where Abbott's Lodge was. No breakfast.”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“A perfect stay for 3 days fishing . The room was amazing / the breakfast superb and served by very pleasant helpful girls !! Also great value !! Parked 80 yards away ( no problem ) . Couldnt fault the Guest House in any way at all !! We will definitely be back now we know how good it is !!!! Well done ALL the staff Regards Malcolm Davis and Steve Barton”
