Room was very clean and comfortable and cool on a hot summer day. The property was very well taken care of. The staff was caring and helpful. For a relatively inexpensive road side motel I loved it. All roadside motels should gauge themselves to the Windmill Motel.

Very well renovated motel, nice looking room, new bathroom fixtures. Good locaition off of I-91, small grocery in Northfield 5 miles away. Definitely recommend it, only lacks food/groceries nearby (looks like their restaurant is in the process of renovation though).

It was just what I needed. A quiet comfortable place without any frills as I was just spending one night. The shower worked fine there was plenty of hot water. It was all good. And it was reasonably priced within my budget!

Vijay and Emma are newer owners of this hidden gem. The entire property has been upgraded. Immaculate, fresh bed linens and towels, washcloths etc. Also, my room had a refrigerator which I did not anticipate. That was definitely a plus!

The place was completely renovated and reopened two months ago. Everything was spotless and the room was clean, comfortable and tastefully appointed. The new owners were super friendly. Definitely worth what I paid.

I love the outdoor seating area with the tent and outdoor couches and I love the colors and textures used for the room I stayed in. When I checked in, I was hot from being at SoulFest and the owners gave me a cloth hand fan for free! When I came home that night, I was hungry and there were chips and chocolates in my room! That was wonderful and thoughtful. They also sell food in the office, if you need something more substantial. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable that I had trouble getting myself up the next morning! Slept like a rock. 10/10 for the Windmill! Can't wait to see what the restaurant will be like when it opens! I will definitely come back next year, if there is availability!

Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise

The new renovation is beautiful. I loved my stay here. Yes, it’s a roadside hotel but the room was just as nice , even better, than a some chain hotels I have stayed at. I also appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in my room. Oh and the little snacks and water the left complimentary, Wonderful touch.

Recently renovated, so for the price it was a great deal. I had a quiet room with a big tv and several streaming services to choose from at no additional cost. The owners were very kind and helpful, I wish them the best of luck in their new endeavor.

room 'rustic' style. clean. single room w one queen bed was on the small side, adequate for overnight stay for two. very economical esp. compared with local options. shower hot/cold adjustment slower than normal. heat in bathroom fine. unit in main room kept turning on and off and quite loud. we would stay again. would be interested to see how restaurant turns out. only snacks available now.

The hotel wasn't even accepting reservations and Expedia booked me there. And I also paid a $9 insurance fee. Thankfully, I did not pay for my reservation in advance. I received no confirmation from the hotel or Expedia. The night before my departure, I looked for a confirmation and found nothing. I tried to call the hotel and the call went immediately went to voicemail with no outgoing message. The next day, when I arrived in the town and drove by the place, there was a huge sign out front that said re-opening soon. Thanks a lot, Expedia. I was rescued by Airbnb.
