Older hotel that has been updated and is in a very convenient location with the train station as easy walk or bus ride away. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. Rooms are a little small but fine for a night or two. The fan was a great addition as the heat was still on in Switzerland. Good breakfast buffet too.

Our room was all the way up top of the hotel. During the time of our stay, the weather was really hot. When we checked in, the room felt like we're in the sauna. There was no air conditioning, but there's a ceiling fan and a small desk fan. We had plans to do some sightseeing anyway so we were just hoping it'd cool down when we get back in the evening. And it did. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The bed was comfortable as well. We'll definitely stay here again if we're visiting this town sometime in the future.

The hotel is close to train station. Its clean and decent room size. Front desk very friendly amd helpful. Malwina assisted us with our trip to the Jungfrau region. They have free breakfast too. We stayed here for 4 days. Highly recommended.

Wonderful historic hotel; however, it can be a bit noisy from the metro outside, especially with the heat and windows open (no AC/fans provided). The receptionist helped us download the free city transportation pass we used to get to the Paul Klee Museum. A must see!! The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast service was exceptional.
