The shared areas were outdated with stained carpets. The room was OK and always clean. Location was good with buses running at close proximity. Subway station were around 10 min walk which was also convenient.

Overall, I had a good stay at Victor's Residenz-Hotel Berlin-Tegel. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. However, there were a few minor maintenance issues that could be addressed to make the experience even better.

Great location just a short walk to the U8 Franz Neumann station and lake. 20 mins to Alexanderplatz hub on U bahn. Very comfortable rooms and great helpful staff. Would definitely return

Staff was great (especially Christian) and very convenient for our purposes. Room was clean and very good. Exterior of property could use some work ( cigarette butts, weedy grassy area in front). Would definitely return.

It’s a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are pretty basic - no fridge (unless you rent one), no AC, no coffee maker. Perhaps that is the style in Berlin. However, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable.

Good stay

The breakfast was OK. The room was very nice and quiet. The hotel had a laundry room. Perfect when you are training and want to wash your clothes. The hotel was in an ok neighborhood.

Nice and convenient

Check in was easy, Luisa was very helpful and spoke perfect English. She gave good information on traveling to airport, and was helpful with the washer. The dryer was broken but it was ok we hung everything up! The room was spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was very nice, with many choices, a nice large display!

Expensive breakfast, not worthy of the price, only one pillow per bed, rooms hot and worn, dirty carpet along the hallway, one of room keys didnt work, need a code to exit the parking garage, hotel is hard to find on a busy street, staff was rude and impatient. No extra blankets or pillows. No usb this is twice the price it should be, staff gave me incorrect dorection to transit.

The hotel provided you with the most uncomfortable pillow that hurts ur neck and the staff in heavy rude. They don’t smile or offer assistance for anything except the Guy who speaks Spanish. The shower needs renovation. The water gets stuck in the sink. Etc etc

The hotel is overall located not a good place. Its very far from shopping centers. There’s no nearby coffeeshops. Breakfast is also expensive than other hotels. Not worthy. And the rooms were very cold and old. The heating system doesn’t work well. I could say not looks like 4 star hotel, looks like 2 star hotel.

Positiv: sauberes Zimmer, Bequeme Betten, ZusĂ€tzliches Kissen ohne Aufschlag möglich, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der Seitenstraße (zeitlich begrenzt!), Tiefgarage vom Hotel ist aber auch vorhandenen (gegen Aufpreis), guter Filterkaffee beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck, freundliches Personal, angemessene Preise in der Hotelbar. Negativ: Tiefgaragenplatz kann im Vorfeld nicht Reserviert werden, kleiner Eingangsbereich, kleiner und enger FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbereich, direkt ein zusĂ€tzliches Kissen pro Bettseite wĂ€re Besser. Das eigentliche Zimmer top und modernisiert, Bad leider absoluter Flop: total veraltet, Fliesen beschĂ€digt, eine Lampe defekt (wurde dem Personal mitgeteilt, eine Gutschrift oder Ă€hnliches gab es nicht), Einstieg in die Dusche ca. 30-40 cm hoch, Wasserstrahl nur eine Stufe, Wassertemperatur war am schwanken, Waschbecken hat bereits auch Risse gehabt. Leuchten nur direkt vor dem Spiegel, was das restliche Bad sehr dunkel machte. FrĂŒhstĂŒck: FĂŒr 22€ zu teuer anhand der eingeschrĂ€nkten Auswahl im Vergleich zu anderen Buffets. Sehr kleine Auswahl an KĂ€se und Aufschnitt, RĂŒhrei teilweise sehr matschig, was sich auch am Löffel und dem Teller dafĂŒr wiedergespiegelt hat (nicht sehr appetitlich). Kein Speck/Bacon fĂŒr das Ei, dafĂŒr aber fettige Minibuletten. Baketbeans ohne Bacon und Mini-WĂŒrste sind auch nicht so der Hit. Sonstiges: Wir wollten am Ankunftstag noch in der NĂ€he FrĂŒhstĂŒcken, der Empfohlene BĂ€cker entpuppte sich als Kiosk mit trockenen Aufbackbrötchen.
