Very nice, huge hotel. Room enough in the two restaurants for Intercontinental breakfast. Located on the Alexander Platz, this gives you direct access to the city, metro, train en direct transport line to the airport. The room was clean, personnel very helpful.

Amazing hotel right next to the TV tower! Room was great views! Breakfast was also good- especially needed for a day of walking round Berlin. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Berlin!

The room was nice and clean for what it was. The gym was decent but the smith machine rack needs a lot of lubricant love. It’s also too small for the size of this hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. Overall not bad. Clean, safe, and fairly comfortable temperature for late May.

Great location. As many other stated, doesn't feel like a true 4 star hotel. Room is ok for one, bathroom concept lacks privacy. It's an older building so you do hear your neighbors from time to time. Staff is helpful. Having your luggage stored costs 2 euro per piece.

The property is central, yet a pain to get to with all the large roads surrounding it, especially at night when the entrance facing the metro station is closed and you have to walk way around. The property and rooms seem to be built on the cheap - very basic with no amenities such as a fridge or coffee machine. The only thing separating the shower from the rest of the room is transparent class plus a curtain, the toilet door doesn’t even shut fully, so if you are sharing a room there will be zero privacy. During our stay we suddenly found that our keycard didn’t work anymore, so when we went to report it we found there was water leaking through the light fixtures of the shower and toilet and we had to change rooms. Not the staff’s fault of course, but it was just yet another thing. We got free breakfast (normally €19!) as compensation. The whole building had a strange sour smell to it- even the upper floors where the rooms are. Luggage storage, normally a basic amenity in a big hotel, costs €2 per item, for the bag to sit in a room literally behind the front desk. Staff were nice enough, and overall it’s a little bit cheaper maybe; but just not that pleasant. I would never stay here again.

Single room on 26th floor. Nice hotel. Location is supreme. Someone had taken the remote control from the room and the big towel had a hole in it. I got a new remote from the lobby, but first impressions matter. Weird that you had to pay to get access to the rooftop terrazze, i think it should be included if you are a guest. No airconditioning so the rooms might get very hot during sunny days. Also noice cancelling was not the best, you could hear everything happening in the corridor and also the floor above.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child. The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced.

The best part about the hotel is the convenience of the location (and the great view). As a solo traveler, the size of the room was fine, and I didn’t mind that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the room. However, what I did mind was the size of the pillows - half the width of a regular pillow and so soft they essentially collapsed as soon as your head touched hit them. The water pressure is also awful - the tap in my bathroom produced only boiling water and the temperature for the shower was either scalding or freezing. The worst part about the hotel is the fact that guests can do seemingly whatever they like, with no repercussions. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night was kept awake for hours on end by doors slamming, people shouting in the corridors, and rave-like music being blasted from my neighbours above. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours. Only on one occasion did security come to tell people to be quiet (and that was at 6am - far too late to make a difference). I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. This hotel looks good, but unfortunately looks can be very deceiving.

Booked this hotel for a solo trip very last minute. The hotel was clean and maintained well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is large and can hold a lot of guests there was plenty of space and not too over crowded in the lobby. The room itself as good with all amenities albeit the room was on the smaller size. One drawback was the shower curtain that separated the the shower area with the rest of the room. This was fine as a solo traveller but might have been difficult if I was travelling with others. The breakfast area was very clean and a good choice. The usual continental breakfast options and plenty of options available. The best thing about the hotel is the location to Alexanderplatz. For anyone visiting to sight see this hotel would be ideal with many places within walking distance as well as excellent transport links around the city.
