From the moment I arrived the staff made me feel extremely comfortable especially as a solo traveler. Check in was very smooth and efficient with all of my questions being answered thoroughly. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler with maybe room for one other. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with an amazing shower. Although the room was on the smaller end, there was still plenty of storage of space. My one grievance was the lack of AC. There is a window that opens for a nice breeze but at night the rooms got pretty toasty. Overall I had a wonderful experience!

Clean, modern hotel. Staff were very helpful on check-in, despite arriving very late. Hotel is in a very good location for public transport, next an U-Bahn station, this U-Bahn is 2 stops from many connections to get around Berlin. Be aware that the U-Bahn station can be an area for drug addicts to loiter. I felt reasonably safe, but others may be intimidated by this (this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of).

Poor Neighborhood

Hotel itself was great, small rooms of course. Staff were all great. Never had to wait in line to talk to them. It was nice being right next to a Subway station with good connectivity however the neighboorhood was poor. We had heard this area was more trendy and hipster, the reality is it's more drug addicts, constant sirens, piles of broken glass and so on. We wish we had stayed in Friedrichshain which was much nicer and more interesting plus has the Brown Subway line which is the main line for tourist sites and major train stations.
