Very calm and nice hotel, with a friendly and engaged staff. The room was clean and had a super nice bed, and most of all a working desk that deserves the name of working desk: Large enough for laptop and notebook, several power and usb outlets, free supply of water and a nice coffee machine.

I really did not like the treatment I received at the front desk. It was my second stay and each time I booked thru expedia. In august it was 77 euros/day this time 150 and they made a point of embarrassing me at check in asking repeatedly if I added breakfast and I said yes but they said they did not honor the free breakfast if I booked thru Expedia. I brought uo the last stay and they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about and just saying that bc I used Expedia, I couldnt get the free breakfast (or for a small charge).

The location was walkable to my friend's apartment. The breakfast every morning was spectacular!! The rooms were quiet, clean, modern, the bedding I absolutely loved and took a picture of the label to hopefully buy a comforter:). The only odd thing was not all the staff spoke English--forward facing staff like the front desk and restaurant--even simple stuff like can I take a roll to go LOL

Really quiet part of Berlin and fairly close to the HBF. Lots of eating places and couple of supermarkets close by. Felt safe here. Hotel room is spacious, great shower and breakfast.

A stay at Hyperion is always worth it

Each time we come to Berlin to celebrate a birthday, we choose the suite at Hyperion as our home away from home. My second stay in the hotel for now 11 days in total. I love the friendlyness of the employees, the ambience, breakfast has a good choice, the neighbourhood is quiet. The hotel is central enough to walk (it's Berlin, you can walk a lot!), is well connected to municipal transport, easy to reach from the station. Stayed both times in Tower suites, the ones on 8th floor are amazing! Only one negative note: as in most hotels the light in the bathroom is **** .... needs improvement, it is way to dark at the mirror.

A good stay at the Hyperion

The Hyperion is nicely located away from the main streets and therefore a little quieter, yet close enough to city and public transport links to get where you need. It's a comfortable hotel and well appointed for a competitive price when compared to other hotels in slightly more central locations. Staff are always extremely pleasant and helpful.
