The hotel’s location is perfect, with spacious and beautifully designed rooms full of character. The entire hotel is decorated with a unique and charming style. Having booked a room for two adults, it was rather embarrassing as a same sex couple to be asked at check in if we had booked two rooms. We interacted with staff on 3 occasions, check in, check out and a query re the gym. Each time I was treated as with indifference. The room was ok, rather on the small side for the price point in Berlin as a superior booking. I did not think the photo in room of a topless woman surrounded by suited men was appropriate.

We were only in Berlin for a short time, but we lucked out with this hotel. It was spacious, nice amenities, and much more beautiful than we had anticipated. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and we enjoyed the area (great for shopping)

This was my second visit to Zoo Hotel and I will definitely return. It's a beautifully decorated building with luxury rooms, a brilliant bar and breakfast, approachable and helpful staff and the best lounge for relaxing in. Also, an ideal base for discovering Berlin away from the usual overly tourist areas.
