University is great for walking, close to downtown, close to San Francisco and Oakland attractions
Berkeley is a sweet town, full of brown-shingled homes, flowers, techies and graduate students.
Berkeley is great. Everything within walking distance. Vary safe, and the university is only blocks away.
BART from SFO to Hotel Shattuck could not have been more convenient. It takes time, but it's easy.
