This was a great base for us to spend 3 nights in Bergen before boarding the Havila ship for its northbound voyage. The ambience of the hotel and friendly staff provided a warm introduction to Scandinavia.
Nice reception area to wait and take a coffee.

Nice ground floor bar, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Restaurant seemingly closed. Room was in desperate need of some TLC, and shower facilities not great. I’m not convinced the bed is a king either. Convenient for train station, with a 15 minute walk to main tourist hotspots.

A very spacious reception area. great location as the rail and bus terminal is right there. Nice snacks for guests arriving at the front desk area-very welcoming. The swipe keys for elevators are a bit frustrating as theynwork intermittently-patience is required,

We really enjoyed this hotel. Our only complaint was the bathroom. There was no safety/grab bar to get in and out of the shower. Very uncomfortable feeling. Fantastic breakfast and evening buffet. The staff superb. Close to the Bergen city for dining and shopping.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Bergen. Easy to walk to all of the sights we wanted to see; Bryggen, Fløyen. Very well presented, clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection and we were able to take a packed lunch of our picking for our day out. Would definitely choose Scandic again.
