A wonderful location making it easy to walk to Bryggen, city center, tram, and hiking trails, very comfy bed and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Parking is $30 a few blocks away or $40 under the hotel and you pay and reserve the pool and sauna which seems a little nickel and dime, otherwise love the place.

The view front n the balcony was incredible. It overlooked the square in City Center. There was a Marathon going on that afternoon. The dinner at the Cafe Norge in the hotel was excellent and so was the breakfast buffet served in the morning.

The hotel itself was well maintained and clean. The rooms were small and we booked it with the intention of having a pool to enjoy. Fantastic hotel. Small clean room but the balcony was a huge plus and the views are fantastic no matter where you are. Breakfast is plentiful, delicious and varied in what you can have, very well done and worth the price. All staff has been nothing but pleasant and accommodating. I absolutely recommend this hotel and will probably stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Norge located in the beating heart of Bergen’s city center… As it is my first time in Norway, everything seems aesthetically beautiful and wonderful…quite a welcome eye opener. Very clean and first class hotel. Breakfast wonderful. I did notice a lot of night time noise from music or other activities outside the hotel nearby. The noise did not bother me but it might others. Very convenient location to walking to the city sights. My disappointment was no available parking in the garage so I needed to park in the city garage less than a 10 minute walk away so that worked and I did feel safe but would have liked to be able to park in the garage. People should know very limited parking onsite but I had researched and knew available parking nearby. To Expedia I did make an error and thought I was reviewing this hotel when I commented on the parking and included that in my review of the Scandic Stavanger City Hotel. They also had limited parking but I did get a space. Would like to correct that.

Staff were excellent. Only feedback would be to let guests know about the breakfast time change as we arrived at 10am and were told we had missed the buffet. Staff were very helpful though and provided a plate for us.
