Very comfortable hotel, close to centre. Friendly efficient service and much better than average hotel breakfast. Rooms are individually furnished. Large bathroom with too complicated shower. Would stay again.

My wife and I loved our stay at Bergamo. Beautiful little hotel with great service. Uta goes above and beyond and we thought she was the owner. Turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Hopefully we come back one day!

Fabulous hidden gem

This place is a gem of a find in Bergamo. Great location, bus from the airport drops you to city centre and hotel is 8 minute walk. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room is brilliant, neat and clean with all the modern amenities and lots of light. Five star clean bathroom and lots of towels! Spacious room to store luggage and mini dining table. Lots of plug points. We loved it. Good breakfast spread. However the star of the hotel is the manager Ute who provided us first class service throughout! Contacting us even before we got there, she is brilliant. We felt like we had met an old friend - she is friendly, helpful and offered us so much time and help. It was wonderful chatting with her and for us she really made our stay so memorable. Thank you Ute, we hope to be back soon.

Skønt lille boutique-hotel med charme, atmosfære og fantastisk service. Vi følte os nærmest som en del af familien efter ganske kort tid. Receptionisten tog sig kærligt af enhver gæst. God morgenmadsbuffet med betjening til det varme og kaffe/te. Hotellet er centralt beliggende og har parkeringsservice. De varmeste anbefalinger gives herfra.

Wow, this boutique hotel really punches above it's weight. From confirmation of our reservation to our day of departure, we felt as though we were staying with family. Don't misread this; the staff are exceptionally professional but super friendly. Nothing was ever too much, and advice on travel arrangements, to planning day trips was always freely available, but never pushy, and always provided with a warm and welcoming smile. Ideally located for access to buses and within easy walkable distance to the train, this hotel is well situated and close to the vast array of restaurants. I cannot praise them enough and already planning a return trip. Breakfasts were fresh and enticing, with hot options on request; omelettes were superb. I have no hesitation to give the hotel a very high recommendation.

Dette er et lite, men meget hyggelig hotell med flotte rom, fantastisk service og en liten, men variert og veldig delikat frokostbuffet. Personalet var meget hjelpsomme både på forhånd og under besøket. Oppholdet på Petronilla hotell skapte den perfekte ramme for vår Italiatur.

We have had a wonderful stay at Hotel Petronilla. The room was very nice. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. I can’t stress enough how pleasant and helpful the staff was. They went beyond with service. One gentleman (I wish I’d gotten his name) even went out and got Diet Coke for me when he realized that they were out. Breakfast was also very nice in a covered terrace. It was a little bit of a hike to the upper city but not too bad. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel..
