Looks onto the Train Station

We wasn’t staying in Bergamo for long, just the one night to watch the football. Hotel is ideal if arriving on train as it looks onto the station. Hotel is good, rooms are modern and the shower is decent.

We had a twin room on the top floor which was adequate. Breakfast not included in the price.. this was €10 per person. No restaurant for evening meal. Room was clean, shower was good. The convenience of the location (across from the train station) and the ease of walking to the Citta Bassa centre were 2 main advantages of the hotel. However, the area could be quite dark to walk around (other than going up Via Papa Giovanni XXIII) and it did not make pedestrians feel safe. Overall, clean and nice rooms, although it could be a bit noisy for rooms in lower floors (first or second) due to road traffic.

Nice hotel in great location

Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, opposite the Train and Bus station and walking distance from Bars & Restaurants & Centre. Clean & Tidy, Breakfast okay but for €10 there are nicer cafes with better food within walking distance. Room on the third floor right in front of the lifts. Cleaners trolley was outside my room for near the duration of my stay. Had one working day in my room where all I heard was a hoover for hours. Was loud in the mornings and late in the evenings with people get in and out the lift.

No reason to stay here

Our room for first night was truly awful. AC did not function so we opened the window which increased the already loud street noise and let in mosquito!s! A hot, sleepless night. Shower was a walk-in type but without a water barrier so floor was very slippery. Asked to change rooms but since we had used the shower they refused. Moved to back 4th floor for second night. Much quieter and a better shower, but very small room. Was able to get a night’s sleep at least.

Terrible service from this website and the hotel property itself. A booking made in error, wrong dates, but 9months in advance. Contacted both within 2 hours of booking to try and cancel and correct it to the right date, but neither would allow for it. They would have easily resold the room in that timeframe, but chose to be greedy and unhelpful. Avoid.
