We had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures. Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious. We especially loved how close we were to the fortress, and the old town was a short distance down hill. Going uphill after a day of exploring is a bit of a work out but manageable. Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Tres belle Emplacement. Le personnel tres gentil . J etais en face du Chateau . Et apres j ai tout fait a pieds . Il est préférable d etre en bonne condition physique si on veut éviter de reprendre la voiture quand on est perché tout en haut avec une magnifique vue

El hotel es ideal, cerca del castillo y justo al lado de la cuesta que baja a la zona del rio. El unico punto negativo es que la propietaria no habla ingles aunque hizo todo lo posible con el traductor por lo que no se puede considerar negativo
