Séjour à Berastagi!

Hôtel en rénovation, il n'y a pas 3 restaurants mais bien un seul qui est ouvert! Personnel accroché à la réception, déjeuner sous forme de buffet très bon! C'est un peu loin du centre de Berastagi!

Nice place to visit

What a nice place to visit with family. Me and my small family very enjoy this family room and the funland with connecting bridge from resort to play ground. They are also open restaurant and fast food here.

Rent och snyggt hotell nära nöjespark.

Rent och snyggt hotell med en nöjespark runt hörnet. Blev dock lite överraskad av att det som på webben marknadsfördes som "standard-rum" visade sig vara ett budget-rum utan fönster. Men det var det billigaste rummet jag bokade så det kanske var att vänta. Hotellpersonalen var trevliga, men lite misstänksamma. Till exempel informerades vid incheckning om böter för att flytta ned madrasserna på golvet (antagligen för att få fler sovplatser i rummet) och receptionisten hade radiokontakt med städpersonalen vid utcheckning för att kontrollera rummets skick.

Unpleasant Stay. Would Not Recommend

Stayed here for 2 nights. Not impressed by this hotel. - The hotel itself is situated outside of Berastagi and is not easy to access the town from. - We were put in a room around the side of the hotel with no windows and close enough to the road that you could literally feel the vibrations of passing traffic. - Tried to organise a tour with reception but very unhelpful with this. They were also very unhelpful with organising a taxi at the end of our stay. - The hotel restaurant was irritating if eating for 2. Nearly all meals were set up for 3-5 people and no changes to the menu were possible to make one of these large meals for 2 people.

OK ROOM, VASTLY OVERPRICED

We stayed in a Value (budget) room in peak season (16 to 17 July) because it was the only hotel we could find online for this period in this location (these dates were the only period we could manage during our visit to Indonesia). The room was okay (although small) with a nice bed, TV that showed some english language channels, and a shower that alternated between hot and cool every couple of seconds. Wifi was fairly good. Hotel is several kilometres from town centre (although local transport is cheap and very regular), and a considerable distance from Sibayak (our sole reason for being here). Compared to other hotels/homestays we stayed in during a month in Sumatra this was vastly overpriced but maybe it might be better value during off-peak seasons. We only ate breakfast at hotel, and there was a vast range of asian and western style foods at this time of day. If price was 50% cheaper, I would be more likely to rate it higher.
