The room was a little small for 2 people. Not bad at all if your not planning on spending time in room. Room was clean, staff were great,pool was clean, the only thing I would change is exploring the outer buildings for a little bigger room for moving around in, and maybe having a table and chairs to set at in room. Other than that the stay was great for the money.

The pool access is really what makes this property worth it. Our room was a little messy, there was garbage from the previous occupants still in it and there was no soap in the bathroom. But close drive to downtown which is nice

The pool was great. This place is well beyond it's prime. Great location. 5 or 6 minutes to the beach and dining by car. No park for kids. The building is literally rotting. 2nd year there and we saw zero improvements. The internet never seems to work. We will stay somewhere else next year. The website photos are old.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms are old and showing their age. Unfortunately we had to use the AC the entire time and it is very loud. And the room had a lot of bugs. The staff said they would take care of it. It was an average stay.

This is a great resort in South Haven. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice. It’s about 2.5 miles to walk to the central part of South Haven for lots of restaurants and bars. I will be back!

I was a little hesitant to book because of the low price. But we loved this place the grounds are beautiful a pond in back with three camp fire rings and grill. Pool was very nice. It’s a old hotel but in good condition we will definitely rebook in the future. They have lots of chairs out side to enjoy the grounds.

We had a very good and relaxing experience. The pond with waterfall and walking the fence line were wonderful. Clean rooms just the right size. The decking around upper level made for a nice place for coffee in the morning and pizza in the evening. A truly tranquil place.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I can not emphasize this enough! Our first impression of pulling in the gravel parking lot was all the wood rot on the windows. The gal that checked us in was pleasant. We drove around the building to park, another gravel parking lot. You are right along the highway. Not sure how lit up it was at night. Was not comfortable leaving my car overnight. The room was musty. Chain on door was broken. Total ick vibe of the room. We did not stay even 5 minutes. Left. Very disappointed. The pictures of this place need to show how it really looks. Booked through Expedia. Did not feel safe to stay. No refund, of course. I care more about the safety of my family than the money lost. Shame on this place for not giving refund. Shame on Expedia for representing this place. Again, DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Unfortunately our stay was not the best. We had bugs in our room (ants, spiders and a few moths) The refrigerator was leaking but I fixed it once I was able to get power restored to it. The tv didn’t work and there was no WiFi. I purchased a table lamp during my stay to have on my nightstand so I could read at night ( because they don’t have any table lamps) I checked in at 2:45 pm and then was called after 11 pm that evening asking if I was still coming for my reservation. Pool was nice. Guests are not allowed to have alcohol unless you buy it from them (worth noting). We were so unhappy that we ended leaving after one night and didn’t stay for the second evening. The hotel has a close location to downtown but overall needs major improvements and they should not be charging the rates they are.
