Best location to Silver Beach, an easy walk even with a few things to carry. Some folks drive down and unload without having to pay the parking fee; kids and accessories at the beach while one parent parks at hotel and makes the walk back. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Loved this place and would highly recommend!! The cabin was so clean and everything was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Lake water was gorgeous! I do wish there were chairs on the beach, but we just went and bought some. The indoor pool only gets 3ft but the 4th floor pool room was a great place to chill on a rainy day! Will definitely be back!!!

Staying at Silver Beach Hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and it was very easy to park in this downtown area. We loved having a view of Lake Michigan as well as being able to enjoy walking on the Bluff / experiencing downtown St. Joe without having to move our car. The breakfast was very basic, however, without a lot of choices. We ended up going to one of the many coffee shops in the area.

Property was pretty clean. It’s not the fanciest, but you’re also not here to hang out in a hotel. For the price in the area, it was great. Staff were very nice. The breakfast is just as plain as they state, but plenty of Good breakfast places around. If you’re looking for a good, clean, convenient place to stay that won’t break the bank, this is it. You could certainly find fancier places in the area, but you’d be looking at either a far less convenient location or a much higher price. Since my wife and I come to spend time at the beach and shops, this hotel is perfect.
