Great Free parking. Clean spacious room. Fresh, plentiful continental breakfast. Only 3 star, but feels more like 5 star! Booking your table at reception upon arrival for your evening meal is a must!

Overall the experience was good, except for 3 things. It was not easy to find our room as you are given the key and the room is in another building. Second we had to climb 14 stairs with our luggage. We are seniors and found it difficult. Thirdlythey need to invest in proper pillows. What we had was a pillow case filled with stuffing. Yes, we are from Canada, but in our travels in Europe we have always had, what we consider, proper bed pliiows. Otherwise, room was clean, staff friendly, no language issues, breakfast was good.

We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. There appeared to be some water damage and what I assume was black mold in the bathroom. The entire room smelt like mildew. The beds were also quite hard and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. It seemed like the rooms in the main building may be better maintained than the unattached part of the hotel where we stayed. The restaurant for breakfast was nice though with the continental breakfast offering what one would expect.

Large family room with comfortable beds. Good shower. Free onsite parking - easy location to access from highway and close to ferry terminal. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. We stayed in a separate building away from the main location - very quiet.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here when travelling on the Caen ferry and arriving late, and it was lovely. The family rooms are very comfortable and uniquely decorated. Buffet breakfast is easy and quick. There’s a lovely garden for the kids to run around

I was late arriving at the location, the reception had a number to call - a pleasant lady showed up and checked me in. i was leaving early the next days so she made me a take away bag for breakfast, it was really delicious. My stay was short, only 7 hours in total but comfortable and welcoming. recommended for both business and recreational purposes, the buildings and grounds are really beautiful.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast is an extra charge, but had a good selection. No AC, which is usual for this area, but when we were there it was a little warmer for the area so the room was a little uncomfortable. Thankfully you can open the windows and the staff provided a fan, so we managed. The restaurant at night requires a reservation, which we did not realize ahead of time, so we had to find somewhere else to eat, so make reservations if you want to stay on-site. The food looked delicious, I was sad to not be able to eat there.

Beautiful property and good location for port, the bar staff were lovely and friendly. However, we messaged a day before to request a booking at the restaurant as it was the last night of our holiday and wanted it to be special, we had a standard message back saying restaurant was open daily. Arrived and was told it was closed :-( it was Sunday so no other walkable options available. They did offer a cold option which was nice but not the romantic meal we hoped for. Room was spacious but no opening windows or air con which made for an uncomfortable night. Breakfast was included but we had to leave for ferry at 0730 before it was available. All in all not quite the great last holiday night experience we had in mind.

This is a beautifully restored historic property with wonderful courtyard gardens, some being revamped now - love the addition of bean bags and table/chairs in many of the outdoor places. Highly recommended and so close to ferry terminal of Ouistrehan
