Horrible experience. Check in at a different location. The room was dated and shabby-looking. Paint is chipping and holes all through the apartment. Curtains were hanging off the rods, and some windows only had curtains on half the window. There was a putrid, smoky smell throughout the apartment. I have rented numerous times in Benidorm, and have been pleased for the most part in other places. I returned to the check-in place, in a different location, and expressed my dissatisfaction with the property. The man only spoke Chinese, and after several minutes trying to explain my situation, he told me that I would have to go to the checkout location in the morning after 9:30 am to tell them of my complaint. I felt awful that I would have to spend the night in the apartment. After looking for the other location, I arrived at the Property management place called "Fincas Benidorm", and the English-speaking guy was no help whatsoever. He basically told me that there was nothing he could do for me. I called Hotels.Com, and was told that I would need to checkout before they could begin the refund process. I felt hesitant to do so, since I had booked a non-refund booking, but did go back down to "Fincas Benidorm" to check out. After doing so, I called Hotels.com and told them that I had checked out, so they could begin the refund process. After Hotels.com contacted " Fincas Benidorm", they would not release a refund the money. Hotels.Com ended up refund me 1/2 of money.
