This is a real gem in the jungle - we loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is thoughtfully designed around the landscape and the abundance of wildlife is truly special. Our meals at the restaurant were tasty and freshly prepared. The tubing in the property creek is good fun and a refreshing end to one of the walking trails through the grounds.

OMG, Jaguar's Creek is even better than the videos on YouTube! Wish we could stayed longer, but we had another hotel reservation in another city. Property is beautiful. We had a room on the beach with a plunge pool. Plunge pool is warm. We were on the bottom floor so our pool was out back with a covered deck on the front that overlooks the ocean. There are two levels above with plunge pools on the front of the property. Air conditioning is great and there’s a good breeze that comes off the ocean. Staff are wonderful.

Despite the room and the property being amazing I recommend that you never stay here. The hotel is so lovely and in the middle of nowhere, which is great, but, that means you are stuck eating from the hotel restaurant, which is absolutely disgusting and ridiculously priced. The food was served cold and I ended up with food poisoning. My kids and husband tried pancakes for breakfast while I threw up in the room and they were given to them cold even though we requested that they were not made until they arrived at the restaurant. My husband drove into town and bought cereal and bread and that's what we ate for our remaining time there. It really is such a shame because the room and property are amazing but you really can't stay here unless you are okay with peanut butter sandwiches for all your meals.

Nice Place to Disconnect

We wanted to disconnect a little and experience the rainforest and we could not have had a better place to stay. The cabana was beautiful, well unkept, and had everything we need. The staff was excellent and the food from the restaurant was more than we could eat. Tons of beautiful plants and birds, and the creek was a really nice place to relax and float.
