A hotel to return to.

Very pleased we chose this hotel. All staff were very polite and efficient. Could not find fault with the room or service and the free tea,coffee,cake, croissants in reception was very nice although personally I missed having a kettle in the room. Food availablity and quality good at the adjacent restaurant.

Excellent hotel. Looks like a UK motorway service station stop from the outside, but could not be further from it once inside. All the rooms face away from the road so is totally quiet. Free tea/coffee/cakes/croissants in reception. The Marche next door for dinner has great food options and is immaculate.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and for us, it was a perfect stop to explore the area. If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. Complimetary tea/coffee/cake is in reception, you can have as many cups as possible and we enjoyed the croissants in the morning. A very nice lounge area with a pool table and a small shop to buy drinks, alcohol and other snacks is available. To eat there is a restaurant across the road and hotel residents get a discount, we enjoyed the choice there, self service style but lots to choose from. The staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble

We didn’t have a good start. Finding the hotel was a nightmare. We tried to stay off toll roads and had has go around in circles trying to find the entrance. We arrived to find it more of a truck stop on the tollway. Not a single photo or comment of it being only accessible from toll road unless you had prior info and got the back gate opened. On first impression we weren’t happy. The buffet breakfast is located off site a short wet cold walk for us. There was coffee and pastries in lobby though. The beds were comfy and room was clean. Views look at city. Mountain. River and cows. So once inside all was good. Just the initial arrival could have been a lot better if a simple comment or photo of back private access could have been explained. Otherwise a nice stay.
