What a fabulous place, excellent staff, beautiful grounds, homecooked breakfast was delicious, homeade jams and excellent coffee. Even though we live in NY 3 hours away, we will definitely come back.

The room was interesting, one of 10 off a shared kitchen and dining room. Very comfortable and convenient for preparing for day trips around the area and for relaxing upon return. The staff were very hospitable. Breakfast was very good.

This is our favourite place to go when we come home for something. Our only complaint is we couldn’t extend our stay longer due to every room being booked

The room was very spacious and clean. It was convenient to take the stairs down the back deck to the pool/outside area. Nice to have a common area that has large and had great amenities. Nice to have the lake 200 m away and a food truck on site. The breakfast was great. The staff was so friendly and I love how it is made to order with nice optons. That is a great touch!

Being our first time at Timber House Resort, overall it was a pleasant stay. A great way to escape the city and have some peace and quiet. Staff was friendly and welcoming and breakfast was definitely a positive and there was great options. From what is being advertised on hotels.com I wouldn't say the restort is directly on a private beach it is a short walk to the beach itself. The only recommendation I have is that it would be nice to have a mini refrigerator in the rooms or possibly as an option to have. There is a shared refrigerator available, I personally think it would be nice to have them in the rooms for those who aren't so comfortable to have items in a shared fridge. Overall it was a nice experience.

We stayed here to visit Presqu'ile park only a short drive away. The check in was very easy. Rooms were large and clean. Place was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was nice.

Overall clean, friendly staff, great breakfast. Nice quiet place. One thing I noticed is that the closets, drawers, dressers and their countertops were left dusty.

It is a unique property that allows you to use spaces other than just your room. Breakfast was amazing (try the jams!!). Slightly out of the way, but we’ll worth the drive. Stayed there twice now.

Beautiful property that makes you feel surrounded by nature. Shared kitchen facilities great for prepping a picnic or an evening snack. Delicious made to order breakfast (choice of eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon) and yummy coffee. The star of breakfast was their homemade jams that are made with interesting fruit and herb combinations. We bought 3 jars! Would definitely stay again.

This is a very ..unique... property. It's VERY isolated and felt more like a (very nice) summer camp than a hotel. Honestly, I felt a little scared being a solo woman on my own because it was isolated and no one was there when I arrived. It's clearly a beautiful space for a wedding reception, but a little odd for hotel. It's far from the highway and restaurants/towns which is fine as long as you expect that. The walls were EXTREMELY thin and I heard all conversations and had to put a noise machine on to try to drown out the guests up stairs that sounded like stomping elephants. Not the hotel's fault but I wouldn't recommend this for light sleepers. I didn't meet any staff as I guess they aren't really ever on site except breakfast. Sadly, I missed breakfast since I had to leave so early so can't comment on that. The jams looked great! Overall, just know what to expect. I wouldn't stay again but I clearly didn't understand what it would be like.
