This chic hotel boutique is a gem! The friendly staff made us feel right at home. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the sauna offered a relaxing escape with a stunning view of the lake. The brunch was delicious, and we loved that everything was within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Their attention to detail made our wedding anniversary truly special.

Stayed at the motor inn and it was exceptional! Location is excellent (a two minute walk to the lake, beside a brewery with great food and two great cafes, plus a number of other restaurants), the property and rooms are well decorated and beautiful, and the staff is so welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean upon arrival, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were lovely and smelled wonderful, which was a nice touch. The air conditioning worked very well, but unfortunately it blew directly on me all night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. We were also disappointed that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. We were told to get water downstairs, but since no container was provided, we had to use the ice bucket. The two cookies at check-in for a family of four were a nice gesture, although more would have been appreciated. The bite-sized scones offered in the morning were delicious, but they could have been a little larger. When booking as a family travelling with children, it would also be helpful if the "Jems" box were placed out of sight of curious kids. The food in the main dining room was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. While there are shops nearby, they don't offer the same charm or variety as those in Niagara-on-the-Lake, making the high room rates harder to justify. Overall, we had a pleasant stay thanks to the cleanliness of the room and the excellent staff, but the cost for a single night was extremely high. Given the location and surrounding area, I don't feel the experience justified the premium price.

The Motel is nice, we had many problems getting into our room as the door was locked and key did not work. It was hard to find the room and you were on your own getting there. There could have been coffee in the common area? The restaurant is amazing with wonderful food staff and seating.

We stayed one night while attending a wedding at the Drake Devonshire (which we’ve also stayed at a few times and love!). We wanted to try out the Motor Inn this time and it was fab. Our only regret was that we barely spent any time in the awesome room during our stay. Bed was super comfy, room was clean and we will definitely be back

The queen-bed room was small but efficient with a glass partition between bathroom and the room. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant excellent with a beautiful view of the lake. The main disappointment was that we were staying at the Drake Motor Inn and the view was that of the parking lot. I have known that there will be no lake views but when going to the county, I didn't expect to have a view of a parking lot for over $600 per night. I would triple check with the hotel about which room I am getting if I were to ever stay there again.

The room itself was really modern, large and clean. We stayed in the flat. Very nice. However, when I booked the room, I didn’t realize that this room was not located in the Drake Devonshire property. It’s actually up the street. Not waterfront. That’s on me for not researching thoroughly, I guess. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a lovely setting and the food and drinks were very good. The service was excellent also. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
