Pros: -Superb breakfast! Keep it up Conrad Beijing team. Lots of food options, great food quality. Cons: -We booked two rooms. They both felt worn out and a bit outdated. We asked for a non smoking room and our level-12 room smelled unpleasantly, heavy cigar smell. -We booked the hotel because of the view, but the view from our room was frankly terrible. -Reception desk staff english proficiency is severely limited. Communication can be a big big challenge for non-mandarin speakers.

When asked about a local number to put on meituan the concierge did offer his personal number. It’s above and beyond, aside from that the staff at the counter greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcomed. The porch was grand, and so was the hotel lobby. Room was nice although the carpet was a little dirty. After visiting Conrad in Shanghai I do feel this is a much better hotel to be staying at! Thanks Conrad Beijing! Highly recommend!

Excellent Hotel - 5 star rating

Excellent - everything was perfect except language barrier was a slight problem at first. The next morning we met a staff that spoke very good english and showed us how to go about China. Other staff can speak aa little bit of English but you would need a translator app. The rooms are huge, stayed in a city view room. Access to tourist destinations in Beijing is very cheap via taxi from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing.
