Lovely location just along Nanlouguxiang, the staff are all wonderful, super friendly and helpful. Free laundry, we had a long trip and was travelling with many bags (heavy) the ladies had to help to hand carry them all to our room on the second floor. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea (missed it as we were out in the day) on the day of checkout at noon they even offered to cook a dumpling noodle soup for my son who missed his breakfast. Would love to stay here longer if we had more time.. Thank you for the great service!

This hotel was excellent. We had a wonderful stay here and the staff was top notch — so helpful and courteous! They went out of their way to support us with everything from choosing restaurants nearby, getting transportation and helping to solve any problems that we encountered. One night my daughter accidentally left her phone in a DiDi (local Chinese rideshare app) and as we didn’t speak Chinese, the staff helped us contact the company and the driver to arrange for the phone to be returned that night. Beyond the staff, the room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the amenities were very comfortable. The hotel also provides free afternoon tea service (with snacks) every day, which was always a welcome treat after spending each days exploring Beijing. We will definitely stay here if we ever return to Beijing and highly recommend.

This hotel is a small and very nice authentic hotel. If you want to stay in an authentic environment instead of a big international hotel this is it. The rooms, the terraces and the courtyards are very cosy and give you a feeling of being back in time. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and they speak English. Just a few steps from the hotel you have a long vibrant street with lots of small shops selling all kinds of stuff, and yet the hotel is very quiet. If you are up for a longer walk, it is possible to walk to the forbidden city as well. All in all I loved staying there, and the hotel has my best recommendations.

I can not imagine that there is a hotel better located in Beijing. Staying right in the middle of the hutongs, this hotel had amazing historical character, lovely staff, breakfast and afternoon tea included, and a free laundry service. Needless to say I will gladly be back next time I’m in Beijing
