Hoteles en Befukyo Onsen

“Good location to see the Iya valley. Staff very helpful”

“The property has a comfortable shared sitting area with a collection of books, manga, Nintendo 64 and Super Famicom games.”

“Great Riokan and facilities. The open-air onsen accessible only by zipcar would be a destination of its own. If you are planning a trip to Oboke Gorge and the Iya Valley, this would be the wisest option. Just consider the CRAZY zigzagging roads made out of impossible curves to drive all around the valley. Really beautiful to see, a little nightmare to drive through. Two way roads where you would barely have space for one small car where you would constantly be looking at the mirrors at every...

“I was surprised check in was at 4pm instead of 3. Check in was at another property. The accommodation itself was lovely. It has the wood smell that I like very much. Although it is split into two units, each room has its own digital lock. The only downside is that because it is an old house, the sound proof is not done well. I could hear my next door neighbour quite clearly.”

“The hotel is a time capsule to Japan's economic miracle era during the 70s and 80s. Very classic and the staff were amazing. However, an electrical outlet in my room needs a proper plate on it. The wooden cover fell off. THEY LET ME PARK MY BICYCLE IN MY ROOM, which saves me about a half hour on arrival AND departure for the 1000 kilometer round-trip Shikoku Circuit Bicycle Route ride! I appreciate that!”

“Meget fint lille sted i utrolig smukke omgivelser. Meget søde og venlige værter.”
