The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. “Room is clean and quiet. Air-conditioner is definitely a plus during heatwave. We were able to have a nice sleep after a day long activity. Staff are very helpful to accommodate our request. On Sunday, the bar closes a bit earlier, so we missed the last order time. But we were able to have a dinner at the bar on a weekday. The food quality is superb in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again next year.”

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...
