Hotel was a convenient stay. The first room view had a lookout of the woods and ac was very noisey. Carpet was also ripped, shreded, and looked nasty. Second room was better and a view of the parking lot. Window was cracked and the ac smelled like pine from the trees directly outside. If you have allergies stay away.

I always like Microtel and this one is one of the best - clean, nice staff, easy accessible. I especially like the 24 hour availability of coffee, hot water, drinking water in the lobby. Also, very close to Ghent!

The room, and building reeked animal urine. Inside the room there were many areas where walls/furniture/doors were damaged seemingly by animals. We could not get the air conditioner to blow cold air and the door required quite a bit of effort to get closed. The staff was very kind when I interacted with them.

I had the best experience here. I was in a bad situation when I arrived and James (the evening desk clerk) was aware and was amazing as well as throughout my stay!! The manager Jeremy was great and explained my charges (they looked a little weird) so I understood the hotel lingo. The housekeeping staff were just as amazing!! 10/10, 5 stars! Would stay again if I ever find myself in WV again!

Room for a few hours

I needed a room for just somewhere to sleep overnight a few hours and this worked just fine. One queen bed and a TV was all I really needed. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay again if needed.
