Key Cards did not work. several trips to get into the room. Maintenance required on wall in bathroom. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Cannot recommend this hotel

This hotel needs lots of attention to detail. The bed was too hard, the pillows were totally unsupportive, and the toilet in our room, besides being way too loud, is too low for many people. And the hotel are definitely understaffed. No (free) breakfast or coffee is provided here, and you can't even get coffee after they close their mini-Starbucks at 10am in the morning. Forget about using the coffee machine in the room. I say this because they don't spend much on maintenance... the only elevator in the building was out all week (when we arrived, and when we left). On the second floor, the doorway to the corridor for the rooms has a push to exit bar. The cover is missing from the corner of the bar mechanism and someone could get a nasty scrape if they're not careful. And the same trash was sitting in the parking lot all week too... There were only two bright spots at this hotel, one being the chefs in the restaurant, and the other was the young man (Alex) who ran the Starbucks and took your breakfast orders in the restaurant. Unfortunately for this place, Alex went back to school, and we think he'll have a very bright future. Look for another place to stay in this area. This place is the poor stepchild of Delta by Marriot... shame.

The room was clean. The breakfast was okay. The indoor pool was the highlight for our group. The hotel needs to update the pool entrance by scanning the room card instead of having to go to the front desk so they open the door. It sounds like nothing but when you want to go to the pool and the front desk staff is busy, then the idea of just scanning the card to go to the pool the most effective. The hotel location is very convenient nearby Wawa and Dorney Park.
