“Beautiful historic house in lovely setting. Our host Margaret was personable and helpful. The room was great and Margaret provided delicious home cooked treats. I did wish the room had an en suite bathroom instead of a shared one but it was only a small inconvenience. Otherwise 5 stars.”

“We didn’t get a good impression when we went to check in as no one was there. We stood there for 15-20 minutes but no one came. We rang the bell and phoned, but still no one answered. Finally, we called and left a message and the owner came from the back to check us in. The staircase to the upstairs (first impression for visitors) was filthy.
