“Had to pay for parking each night. Room was dated. No full English paid between £7-£9 pound for breakfast to find out that in the mornings it would be a toasties coffee and fruit to take away. The restaurant was only Indian food and empty and closed most of time. They did not say on website there is no bar. When we arrived they said it was a dry bar no alcohol! Would not book here again! “As soon as we drove down the drive, I fell in love with this Country House hotel & the grounds. We were welcommed immediately & looked after through out our stay. Location was perfect for A12, also to walk into the village was an option. The menu was excellant.”

The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...

“Really lovely stay for a wedding at High House. Ben was attentive and our room was spacious and clean. They even provided earplugs due to the bell tower across the road. Would definitely recommend!”
